Experts and activists of Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN) continue to work towards the 2022 BAPA-BEN annual conference. Dr. Ahmed Badruzzaman, a faculty at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, is leading the BEN efforts. as the Co-Chair of the technical committee of the conference. BEN leaders from around the world, notably Dr. Mazharul Islam Rana living in the United Kingdom and Dr. Hossain M Azam from the USA, are working with Dr. Badruzzaman in soliciting conference papers from overseas energy and environmental experts working on issues relevant to the energy sector and environmental sustainability of Bangladesh. Dr. Nazrul Islam from New York and Dr. Md. Khalequzzaman from Pennsylvania are working with the Conference Organizing Committee (COC). BAPA-BEN conference coordination meetings held every Friday are attended among others by Dr. Saleh Tanveer from Ohio and Dr. Dipen Bhattacharya from California. On the BEN side, Dr. Badruzzaman is also hosting preparatory meetings attended by Dr. Mahmud Farooque Babu, Dr. Farida Khan and Dr. Mohammod Irfan.
