Special Conference on Environment Movement and Organization (EMO)

UPDATE, December 31, 2013: A scaled down version of the BAPA-BEN conference on Environment Movement and Organization, originally scheduled for Jan 3-4, will now be held on Jan 8 in the form of a day-long seminar, starting at 9 am at Women’s Voluntary Association (WVA) Auditorium located at Dhanmondi Rd 16 (old 27).
Background
The environment movement in Bangladesh arose in the 1980s. It progressed further in the 1990s. Despite many positive steps, the environment of the country overall continues to deteriorate.
Components of Presentation
To review, consider and recommend on the policy, principles, strategies, successes, limitations, failures, drawbacks, obstacles, constraints, potentials of & suggestions for the future struggles for environment in Bangladesh including BAPA.
