Special Conference on Sustainable Development & Environment , 14-15 January 2016

Respected Friends of Environment

This is my pleasure to let you know that the preparatory works for holding the BAPA-BEN Special Conference on Sustainable Development & Environment (BAPA-BEN SCSDGE) due to be held on 14-15 January, 2017,is going on, in full swing. A Conference Organizing Committee (COC) headed by the eminent economist Prof. Wahiduddin Mahmud with 12 subject based sub committees, have been working for last 2 months to make the conference successful. More than 100 scientific and general papers or presentations have already been submitted.

The conference will be held at the beautiful & spacious Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh (KIB), Krishi Khamar Road, Farmgate, Dhaka. This is a well communicated place situated just on the eastern side of the legendary Jatyo Sangshad Bhavan of Bangladesh – a world heritage & one of the top 10 best architectural infrastructures of the world. KIB is situated just opposite to the widely known Islamia Eye Hospital.

Honorable Finance Minister of the Govt of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Mr. AMA Muhit has kindly consented to grace the opening session of the conference as the Chief Guest .
The subject for this conference – SDG, is now a global issue especially following it is adopted by the United Nations Organizations (UNO). Naturally, SDG itself does have utmost significance and popularity among the academicians, researchers, scientists, professionals, writers, intellectuals, teachers, students, tourists, NGO & CSO activists, business people, investors, environmentalists, climate activists, politicians and even the general people including the victims, especially of Bangladesh – the most vulnerable climate hotpot of the world. Apart from the significant influx of papers, we the organizers can easily feel pulsation of interest among the whole lot of the informed & inspired people, both inside Bangladesh and abroad who are eagerly waiting for joining this conference.
As part of the process, now the Conference Organizing Committee (COC) of SCSDGE do hereby announce the CALL FOR REGISTRATION of the individuals /persons interested to join this conference ! Please find the cordial & hearty Call for Registration with principles & procedures of the registration along with a digital  Registration Form in an attachment given here with this mail. Please open & fill it up properly and send to us at an earliest opportunity to avoid the last moment rush as well as a chance of non-availability of seats in the venue.
Please note that this is the call for individuals interested in the conference, not for any organization or institute. By tradition, BAPA & BEN involves Universities & Institutes of the country to join the conference as Co-Organizers and Organizations (social, ecological, developmental, research based, cultural, ethnic, professional, cultural etc) as the Associate Organizers. So, for both of these institutional categories, there are different sort of forms and be available on request. Please ask for Co-Organizers or Associate Organizers Registration Forms at <bapa2000@gmail.com) for your University/Institute/Organization.
I would further request you to circulate this call among your friends, colleagues or any one you feel may be suitable or interested in this event to join.
For any clarification or further information, please contact the conference secretariat in phone, fax, or e-mail.
