BEN ENVIRONMENT NEWSLETTER, Year 20, No. 02 (February 2023)

BAPA, BEN and BEN chapters have organized a host of events in the past couple of months. BAPA-BEN organized a daylong environmental rally in Dhaka, the first of its kind in our history. A one-day conference on haors, rivers and beels followed the following day. BEN held their fourth bimonthly webinar in January. Canada and Souther US chapters of BEN held successful chapter events. This issue of the newsletter brings to you all these news. The newsletter starts with a strong statement of condemnations of the Adani power import delas in a joint statement from BAPA and BEN.
