This year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN) — a global network of non-resident Bangladeshis and their international friends, dedicated to the protection of Bangladesh environment. To mark this occasion, BEN is organizing a whole-day event on June 30, Saturday, at P.S. 69 at Jackson Heights, Queens, New York City. A large number of environmental experts and activists are joining this event from different parts of the world, including Bangladesh, to celebrate BEN’s achievements and to draw lessons for the future.
The June 30 event will include a symposium on the environmental problems and the environment movement of Bangladesh, with participation of renowned experts and activists. It will also have a cultural program, with performance by famous artists, and children’s essay and art competition. There will be video, slide, and poster presentations too. A brief outline of the program is presented on the other side of this invitation card.
Please join this event, with your family and friends, and come forward to protect Bangladesh and global environment.
